Hiring an Event Photographer: FAQs
Event photographers document key moments, preserve memories, capture the atmosphere and create potential images for promotional content. If this is something you are looking for then we suggest booking an event photographer.
An event photographer is responsible for capturing the essence of an event, this includes key moments, guest interactions, details such as décor, food and drink, all whilst adapting to various lighting conditions and being as discrete as possible. We then ensure the images are post produced, presented and delivered in a professional and timely manner.
You should book an event photographer as early as possible. We are under high demand, so dates tend to fill up quickly, especially with our more experienced photographers. So, the sooner you can book, the more likely it is that we are available. Earlier bookings also give you and the photographer more time to discuss expectations and plan out logistics.
We cover a broad range of events from, conferences, award ceremonies, networking events and cultural events. At Fisher Studios, there’s not much our event photographers won’t cover. (Just not weddings or birthdays, sorry!)

Professional photography, fast and reliable responses to any queries regarding the event, high quality post production on the images and speedy turn around.
Events are typically turned around within 1 working day. If the event happens between a Friday evening and Sunday, you can expect the images by end of day on Monday. If your event requires urgent or onsite delivery, let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
As standard we will deliver digital images as high resolution JPEG files. Let us know if you require any other formats though and we will be happy to help.
Yes, although most of our work happens within Oxfordshire, we are more than happy to travel anywhere in the UK.
We typically bring two cameras, several lenses and depending on the type of event, lighting.
Fisher Studios provides unrestricted rights to our clients to use the images however they like. This is called an unlimited license, and we provide this as standard, so you have peace of mind.
Yes, put us in any space and we can shoot it!
Yes, our cameras are more than capable of handling low light situations.
