If there is any job I’m excited to see come in, it’s anything coffee related. After spending a year working at a local coffee roastery I’ve turned into a bit of a coffee snob so, when Independent Cafe came to us asking for pictures of their cafe and food, I was more than happy to do it.
The cafe is located down St Aldates opposite the main gates to the beautiful Christ Church Meadow, with its iconic cathedral overlooking the outdoor seating of the cafe. The inside is furnished with sustainably sourced furniture from the award winning company Sustainable Furniture, providing plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy your coffee. They also serve delicious treats from a local bakery called Gatineau as well as a variety of toasties, breakfast bits and all your typical cafe drinks.
