Oxford has always been known as a cycling city. Not in the sense that the city is made for cycling, but that a lot of people cycle here. If you’ve ever driven in Oxford you’ll know how tedious the journey can be. A journey, which according to google, will take 5 minutes by car, can take you up to 30 minutes. So, it’s no surprise that the majority will commute by bike, including us. Sam, one of our Senior Photographers here at Fisher Studios, has a 18km commute to the studio every morning, I have a measly 2km commute. But in both cases, cycling is the quickest option.
The cycling doesn’t stop at the commute to the studio though, we also cycle to 90% our jobs! Fortunately, Oxford is a small city and everything is at most a 15 minute bike ride away. On top of that we also have some solid camera bags from ThinkTank that are more than capable of fitting 10kg of kit inside and distributing the weight evenly.
